Kalawahine 180' Reservoir

As a sub-consultant to KAI Hawaii, Akinaka & Associates, Inc. was involved with the planning and design for the Board of Water Supply's Kalawahine 180' Reservoir.  Improvements included installation of a 2.0 million gallon storage reservoir, installation of a 24" influent-effluent main, landscaping, design of a drainage system, design of 6,000 linear feet of 24" transmission main, design of 800 linear feet of 8" distribution main, instrument house, irrigation system, improvements to the existing access road, retaining rock wall 6-foot high on the east side of the access road, repaving plan for work and installation of new curb ramps.
