Laiopua Village 5 Subdivision
Laiopua Village 5 Subdivision involved the design for the planned ultimate 117 residential lot subdivision in Kailua-Kona, on the island of Hawaii. Project challenges included offsite roadway improvements, the protection of an endangered species trees, and offsite water system improvements.
Project highlights included the design of 4 new roadways, design of 4,700 linear feet of 8" distribution main and 8 fire hydrants, 3,700 linear feet of 8" and 10" VCP sewer mains, 31 catch basins, 18 dry wells, 2 grate inlets, 2 drain manholes, and a location for a USPS cluster mailbox.
